Welcome to Ms. Stevens’ 5th Grade ELA!

Hope you are all doing well! Bonus activities for Reading may be found on i-Ready. Completion of 2 lessons per week makes up 50 points of the bonus, and the amount of problems your student gets correct accounts for the other 50 bonus points. Lessons will all be open on 04/26/2020 and must be completed by 05/15/2020. In Reading and Math, look for the lessons that say TEACHER ASSIGNED. Those are the bonus. Have your student check my Google Classroom for other activities that are available. Also, have them check Mrs. Stogner’s Google Classroom for her bonus.

I check my school email daily at various times throughout the day, so feel free to email me if you have any questions and I will respond as quickly as possible.

To login to look at grades:

www.opsb.net
click on campus
click on Riser Elementary
scroll down and click on student progress center

Username: Student ID number, which is student’s AR number
Password: Google password, which is 1st letter of 1st name, 1st 3 letters of last name, @ symbol, then last 4 numbers of student's social security number.

Once you get logged in, click on grades. The grades are not averaged for the school year yet, but to determine what you already have without bonus points, add the grades from P1, P2, and P3 then divide by 3. That will give you the current average.
