I graduated from ULM in 2015 with an Elementary Education degree and graduated later in 2017 with a Masters of Curriculum and instruction from ULM as well. I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Instructional Design and Technology through Liberty University. I am so excited for this next chapter in life and always ready to learn new things!

This year is my second year as a teacher at Riser. I currently teach First and Second grade VIP and enjoy the online platform! This is my 4^th year with Ouachita Parish School Board and previously taught 2 years in Rapides Parish as a 4^th grade Math and Writing teacher.

I have previously taught 3^rd and 4^th grades in Alexandria, Louisiana and here in Ouachita Parish.

I am married, to my husband Caleb, since 2015. We have a little girl on the way, expected in March of 2021, and two sweet dogs, Sam and Lady. I have two sibings: a sister who is a pedriactric nurse and a brother who attends Louisiana Tech.
